All new patients require an initial assessment, which includes a review of your medical history, medication and allergies, to ensure that you are given the best possible treatment.
The podiatrist will listen to your concerns and carry out a few simple tests to check the circulation and sensation in your feet. A footwear evaluation will also be done.
If eligible, a treatment plan, along with some advice on how to maintain optimal foot health and costs will be discussed and agreed between you and your podiatrist.

NAIL SURGERY
Nail surgery is a minor procedure used to treat ingrown toenails that are persistent, painful, or infected. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and involves the removal of either part of the nail or the entire nail. To prevent the nail from regrowing, a chemical called phenol may be applied. The healing time typically ranges from 6 to 12 weeks.

DIABETIC ANNUAL ASSESSMENT
This assessment includes a review of your medical history, medication and allergies, vascular assessment of the lower limb, sensory neurological assessment with 10g monofilament as per NICE guidance, and footwear examination.
You will be informed about your risk status of possible complications associated with diabetes, and with your permission, your GP's records will be updated. Diabetic foot care advice is also provided.

HOME VISIT - ROUTINE FOOT CARE
Podiatry home visits offer the convenience of professional foot care in the comfort of your own home. I will bring all the necessary equipment and my expertise to your doorstep. This routine foot care service includes trimming and filing of involuted/ingrown nails, painful calluses and corn removal and moisturizing to keep your feet healthy and comfortable.

FUNGAL NAIL FENESTRATION/LACUNA METHOD
Fungal Nail Fenestration treatment is designed for patients struggling with stubborn or hard-to-treat fungal nail infections. Using advanced techniques, we create microscopic holes in the affected nail plate. This allows antifungal medication to penetrate directly into the site of infection, making treatment far more effective than surface applications alone.
